We’re kicking off the 4th Annual Go Brent Team Winter Clothing Drive, collecting winter items starting in November through January. We’re partnering with Montgomery County Public Schools Linkages to Learning program at Silver Spring International Middle School (SSIMS) and JoAnn Leleck Elementary School at Broad Acres.

In past years we’ve collected thousands of winter items including new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves and boots.

Linkages to Learning can accept items ranging from infant to adult sizes, as both programs offer services to the entire family.

Please help us help our neighbors in need. If you have new or gently used items you can leave items on your doorstep and we will swing by to pick up. We plan to collect now through January, so just let us know when you have a bag ready!

Linkages to Learning is a unique collaboration between Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS): The program provides accessible services to at-risk children and their families to improve adjustment to and performance in school, home, and community. Prevention and early intervention services include health, mental health, social services and educational support (including academic tutoring for students, mentoring and adult education classes, such as ESOL and literacy) to improve the well-being of children and their families through a collaborative delivery of school-based services that address the social, economic, health, and emotional issues that interfere with the academic success of a child.
