Help Shepherd’s Table With Daily Essentials

Shepherd’s Table needs our help restocking daily essentials. We’re collecting travel-sized personal hygiene items as well as oft-requested clothing items. Help us help our neighbors!

The Shepherd’s Table Resource Center is asking for help restocking daily essentials. For hygiene items, travel sizes are preferred as Shepherd’s Table’s guests often only have a bag or two to carry their personal items in, and larger sizes tend to be heavier and take up valuable space. They will still accept some regular sizes for residents on the fourth floor and a small number of year-round shelter guests, but travel sizes are useful for the majority of people they serve.

Shepherd’s Table would appreciate donations of:

  • Wet wipes
  • Body wipes
  • Razors
  • Socks
  • Nail clippers
  • Hairbrush
  • Hand lotion
  • Face towels/washcloths
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Maxi pads
  • Cough drops
  • Deodorant
  • Alcohol-free mouthwash
  • Men’s and women’s underwear S-2XL
  • Ponchos
  • Body wash
  • Hair oil
  • Belts
  • Foot powder
  • Individually wrapped snack items (e.g. chips/granola bars)

In addition, due to the heat and very thirsty clients, they’re in need of:

Individual drinks – they can be anything; water, juice, soda, milk, kool-aid, etc.

They would also love donations to their Protein Please! fund.

Gift Cards and Games!

Our friends at Shepherd’s Table are asking for items to keep their clients engaged while staying warm indoors. They’re looking for gift cards as bingo prizes as well as games for clients to play. Gift cards should be in $5-$15 denominations and they’d love them for places like McDonalds, Chipotle, 7-11, Walmart, or grocery stores.  They’d also like games so clients can pass the time playing board games, (clean) card games, chess and checkers.
