Longtime local Realtor Liz Brent has formed Go Brent, a new local boutique real estate brokerage. Go Brent’s team of seasoned Realtors include Liz Brent, Cari Jordan, Debbie Gerald, Tammy Thomas, Natalie Thomas, Pat Thomas, and Linda Magolda. Go Brent offices continue to be staffed by Susanna Drayne, Marty Milam, and Beth Stanton. The brokerage office is located at 914 Silver Spring Avenue #103 in downtown Silver Spring.

Recognized as real estate service leaders in the DC Metro area, Go Brent agents are consistently listed as top Realtors inside the Beltway. For the past 3 years, we’ve been ranked as the top listing agents in all of Silver Spring and in 2017, we were among the top listing agents in Takoma Park.

For over 20 years now, we’ve partnered with buyers and sellers to achieve their real estate goals. Go Brent agents have assisted over 1,000 home buyers and sellers through attentive communication, skillful negotiation, and proactive problem-solving.

Repeat clients and client referrals account for over 80% of our business. We consider this to be our true measure of success.

Liz Brent is also the Founder of Silver Spring Cares, a local not-for-profit that works to strengthen the Silver Spring community through the power of connection.

The Launch of Silver Spring Cares

Liz Brent

We are excited to announce the launch of Silver Spring Cares, our new local non-profit. Founded earlier this year, Silver Spring Cares is the brainchild of Liz Brent, Associate Broker of Keller Williams Capital Properties and founder of Go Brent Team. The Long Branch apartment building fire and explosion in the summer of 2016 showed how powerful the generosity of Silver Spring residents could be. Always a people-connector, Liz sprung into action thinking of different ways to easily connect the needs of our more vulnerable neighbors with those with the ability to give. Hence, Silver Spring Cares was born.

Silver Spring Cares works to strengthen the Silver Spring community through the power of connection. Whether you are looking to donate items, donate funds, or donate time, Silver Spring Cares is your destination for information on our community’s needs and opportunities for service. By engaging the diverse needs and resources of our residents, we can create a community in which all of us may thrive.

Heather Foley

Silver Spring resident Heather Foley will serve the non-profit’s Director. Heather was a Marketing Team Leader for Whole Foods Market for 9 years. In addition to marketing, she was responsible for community engagement and managing all corporate donations including The National Zoo, National Geographic, and countless others. Heather has severed on several non-profit boards and most recently has worked with the DC Diaper Bank and Shepherds Table.

Check out the website for a list of participating non-profits, to find out about volunteering or donating, or learn about SSL hours. Silver Spring Cares is still growing and adding new organizations daily; if you know of a great organization that should be a part of Silver Spring Cares, please email us to let us know. You can also “Like” Silver Spring Cares on Facebook to stay up-to-date with local organizations and upcoming opportunities.
