A recent Washington Post article discussed home ownership and how “buyers in the Washington area, accustomed to the lack of available homes and declining affordability in the past few years, are beginning to recognize that widening their scope of potential neighborhoods might be necessary to get a home they want.

Many times, buyers know what they are looking for and have preconceived notions of where they want to live.
